I think the idea of monthly subscriptions sounds fun. Long ago, I used to get a knitting magazine and it was the highlight of my day when it came in the mail. I’ve started to sign up for makeup subscriptions several times and then realized that it might not make sense for a person that wears makeup, maybe, once a week.

Now a fabric subscription… where have you been all my life?! 🙂  Patterns for Pirates recently started a fabric subscription program. You can find it here: Fabric for Pirates. So far I have recieved boxes for the months of December and January. They come with a coupon code for a pattern (a great deal!) and a swag item. It’s really fun.

For my December box I was able to squeeze 2 tops out of my 2 yards. I made a Hepburn from Patterns for Pirates for myself.

For Little Bits, I was able to make a new pattern that I was testing, also for Patterns for Pirates, called Sweater Weather. This is the crop version with a crew neckline and regular sleeves in a size 6.

I got a few cute Sweater Weathers made while testing. The star print sweater is a tunic length. The neon pink one is top length with turtle neck and gathered sleeve. I don’t know about you but, the gathered sleeves make me melt.

The January box was this super soft leopard print. I was jealous of my girls cute and comfy sweaters, so I made myself a Sweater Weather with gathered sleeves.
